The mission of UpRiver Village is to create a lively and dynamic community that supports those who want to spend as many of their later years as possible in their own homes and in their own neighborhoods. We value neighbor-to-neighbor interdependence among generations. UpRiver Village strives to fulfill its mission today and desires to create a community that sets an example for future generations, inspiring them to continue stewardship of UpRiver Village or to create a Village of their own.
Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview, and Wood Village are great places to age. Community services, family, neighbors, and volunteers provide support that allows seniors to remain in their own homes as long as they like including socialization to keep seniors actively engaged in their community.
